Digital Timelines headlining the Neurobury Festival in Lancaster…
The Neuro Drop-In Centre , a local Lancaster charity based next to Lancaster Farms which helps people with neurological conditions is holding its third annual mini festival called Neurobury (their homage to Glastonbury ) on Saturday 25th June.
The festival amongst other things will include live music (5 local bands), outdoor activities, a petting zoo, fun party games, car boot sale and craft stalls, hot food and a bouncy castle. The festival will also include an international presence through the Digital Timelines project, which is an Erasmus+ Adult Education KA2 Strategic Partnership led by Lancaster & Morecambe College.
Over the past 18 months the partnership has successfully developed and piloted new ways for carers as well as family members to produce Personal Digital Memories or PDM s consisting of visual and oral materials chosen by the person with memory loss made as a video and saved as a digital format.
So make a date in your diary. It all kicks off at 1pm, it's free and any money raised goes to a good cause. The party is expected to go on to 6pm and we hope to see you there!
